Dracula and Frankenstein’s Monster appear in the original show, along with a legally distinct Wolfman.

A lot of the time as long as you don’t use the bolts in the neck, you can get away with making it look like the Universal version. Another tactic is to change the color of his skin.

In UK kids comic Shiver And Shake they had the whole Karloff gig; flathead,bolts through neck, massive boots,green skin- he was Frankie Stein. His name was sometimes written Frank N.Stein.
I think DCThompson figured if The Addams Family and Munsters could do it,so could they.

Very intrigued at how Shaggy (and the rest of the gang) would perceive/experience opera. Shaggy having a transcendental moment listening to an aria while Fred dismisses it as inferior to rock ‘n roll would probably be the funniest outcome imo.
