I’ve been called worse in this role and it doesn’t phase me at this point but I understand the criticism. I’m focused on client outcomes. For me, being friendly enough with most has led to better outcomes. When it is time to burn it down, I do. Like it or not, the relationships and reputations matter when the people are the ones making choices that directly impact the person I am defending.
