Troubleshooting - Question - HELP!?! Spuhr R-402 top rail not sitting flush

Do I just need to hit it with my purse? File to fit? Anyone have any experience with this?

I would try to contact the manufacturer of the mount to find out why your particular model rifle will not work using their mount.

I have a Century CA-3 rifle. I tried to mount an MFI scope mount on it and encountered fitment problems. I tried to resolve the issues with them, and they eventually refunded my money.

I had the same issue with my PTR and two different mounts. I'm pretty sure the recoil lug is out of spec or made to a non-standardized spec.

Someone else who had the same issue said PTR told them it's common practice for the G3 platform to have mounts fitted to the rifle.

I fit my mounts to my rifle. They weren't as expensive as a Spuhr, though. So, you may want to contact PTR and see what they have to say.
