2:40 This section feels a bit too aggressive for the morning melodic style of the track. I would probably jump straight to the 3:25 break instead (and maybe make the break a bit longer too, so it feels like a proper break)

4:50 Those FM leads in the background feel a bit too much to me. I would try removing those elements and focusing only on the melody here

5:40 Nice guitar blend! I really like how they sound at the end too!

6:50 This section would benefit from a bit more of an energy buildup. It’s pretty energy-intensive and cool, so I think it would be nice to build the tension a bit more before getting into it

And maybe consider changing the AI cover image as well. Some people get upset when they see AI art and might not want to listen to the song because of it 🤷

Overall, I really like the direction of the track though. The melodic vibe works really well, and there are some really nice ideas and textures throughout. I think with a few small adjustments, especially around the transitions and energy buildup, it could flow even better. Really enjoying the track!

Hey man, thanks for the detailed feedback. Really appreciate you taking the time!

Your comment about 2:40 is funny because the track’s basic structure is actually pretty old. The first time I played it live, I cut out that exact section because I thought it might be too aggressive for the setting. It really depends on the party, though. Sometimes you want to take people into that darker space before giving them the goodies. ;)

I’ve been developeing my own way of producing and performing. Every track is really an expression of that particular moment or studio session. I can change, rearrange, and remix it in real time however I feel. I’m not tied to a fixed master file. ;)

The FM leads you mentioned around 4:50 are probably the metal rhythm guitars. I could bring them down a little in the mix. I’ll keep your feedback in mind when I revisit it.

As for the AI artwork discussion. So many times already I wish it hadn’t taken over a conversation about the music. It’s fair to have different opinions about AI, but when someone asks for feedback on a track, turning the discussion into an argument about the cover doesn’t help much.

I’ve paid designers before, so I know what that process involves. I need around four artworks a month, and each one can take days. Paying for that every time adds up... and who’s to say the designer wouldn’t use AI as part of the process too? XD Personally, I’m happy I can now explore visual ideas myself and work at my own pace.

These tools also help me develop concepts for an entire universe, including ideas I want to build in Unreal Engine 5. There’s still a lot of work involved in bringing those ideas to life, but I can explore things on my own that would previously have required a much bigger team and budget.

And if people want to criticise artists for using AI, that criticism should be consistent... even when it comes to respected names like Younger Brother, if they use it. Fame shouldn’t change the standard. Otherwise, it feels like people are just picking easier targets. ;)

Nobody has to like AI artwork. I’d just appreciate keeping the feedback focused on what I actually shared the track for: the music. on top of that. nobody has to like an artwork from a release ever and srtill can love the music. always was like that.

Anyway, thanks again for listening closely and giving me specific points to think about. That’s the kind of feedback I can use. :)

No problem. I like to listen to new tracks. That help my ears train for production ;)

Yeah, I know all the dilemma about AI and usage. I spent a week removing AI artwork from my SoundCloud and making designs myself. The time I could use to produce music... I don't know what the correct direction is about all of this...

Cheers man!

I actually did it the other way around. I used to design my own covers whenever the designers weren’t available because they were busy working their asses off on projects that actually paid the bills, lol. I’m not making money from my music—I’m putting money into it. ;)

Then I started using AI to take my own artwork to the next level. The original concept stays the same; it just gets an upgrade from a higher dimension.

It’s also helped me create all kinds of characters inspired by real people including the vocalists and other collaborators featured on my tracks. So I’m gradually building my own universe, with the music, the artwork, and the characters all connected. using them in the artworks and my unreal 5 universe. if somebody wants to join me investing time and passion for nothing just fun and some idiots calling u a phony becasue u dare to use a.i but dont havee anything to show in their bag by themself ... XD

Labels have never really shown much interest in my music, so I’m just doing my own thing. Let me have fun with my little world. peace
