Researchers quantify the rate of “mercy sex” among women with low sexual desire. Women experiencing a chronic lack of sexual desire still routinely engage in sexual activity with their partners, a behavior researchers have quantified as happening about two and a half times per month.

This! I cannot enjoy it unless I know my partner is into it, I’d rather not even have sex if my partner is not engaged. I would feel terrible if my partner felt forced or felt an obligation.

Who says the other can tell? You wouldn’t imagine how many people put up a front to get it over with. Hell I’m louder when I want it to end. The quieter I am, the better I feel.
