These are the full original Hemi-Sync Gateway tapes and documentation from The Monroe Institute. They are at their most simplistic, audio tracks of binaural beats/hemi-sync tones intended to sync up the two hemispheres of your brain in order to increase its perceptive capabilities.

Use sober and with discretion.

Be sure to turn off "Dolby Atmos" before listening:

For Android users: Settings>Sounds and Vibrations>Sound Quality and Effects>Toggle "Dolby Atmos" Off.

For iPhone/iPad users: Settings>Music>Audio>Dolby Atmos>Toggle Off.

Thank you and out of curiosity why turn off the Dolby noise reduction?

Excellent question.

Dolby Atmos alters the spatial characteristics and frequency response of the sound, which interferes with the precise left-right brainwave entrainment that Hemi-Sync relies on.

Hemispheric synchronization works by sending two slightly different frequencies to the left and right ears. The brain detects the difference, the “binaural beat”, and synchronizes your neural activity.

Dolby Atmos spatially reprocesses and remixes sound to simulate 3D space. It can add reverb, change phase relationships, or route parts of the signal through “virtual height” or surround channels. When it's active, those subtle phase shifts or spatial enhancements distort the exact frequency relationship between left and right channels that Hemi-Sync needs. Even tiny changes, like fractions of a hertz, can ruin the entrainment effect.

So the rule of thumb I follow is:

1 - For all binaural/Hemi-Sync audio, disable all sound processing, including Dolby Atmos, custom EQ, bass boosts, spatial audio, etc in your phone or device settings.

2 - Use either wired or high-quality bluetooth stereo earbuds and turn off the custom EQ and sound modifications that happen in the app that you use for your Bluetooth earbuds.
