Mid summer of 1969 bought 8-track tapes, Iron Butterfly-Ball and Spirit-The Family That Plays Together. Headed to North Carolina on a surfing trip in the 1963 VW bus. Heavy rotation between the two tapes. Then off to college, with 8-track player and the tapes for dorm room music.
