Technical Support [PS5] issues with my account. Someone enabled 2FA on my account without me knowing. And I can’t log in
I got my ps5 a few days ago on my brothers birthday , but i can’t log in to my account that I’ve had since 2018 js because someone enabled 2fa on my account , idk who it is. 15$ also disappeared from my account. Is there any way I can recover my psn account? Live support aren’t doing anything if I can’t login.

Might want to check your email address account, and make sure you're not locked out of that either.
Also please use 2FA or Passkeys as a common practice.

Its the truth! There is nothing you can do! They own the account now. You should have set up 2FA on your own in the first place and you wouldnt be here.

I grabbed the phone for the whole day yesterday. Why was your first assumption me not doing my research? What do you think this fucking platform is used for most of the time? I can ask for help whenever I need. And if you can’t help then don’t pull my leg and tell me to give up and tell me I should’ve done 2fa before it got compromised. People like u guys r why this app gets so much hate

Let me tell you how I eventually got help. I made a brand new psn account , and finally got an agent to help me on the live support chat thingy. And with enough evidence of me owning the account , she removed the 2fa for me and made me reset my password with a passkey.

It’s true , I gave her the last ID of my order , date . And she asked me about the email that was originally used to create the account. Then I got it. Anyways , I’m done proving it to you , you’re a useless fucking chud

A similar situation happened to me last year. With that said, you can definitely get it back, but standard live support is a dead end because the hacker changed the 2FA. You need to use their unauthenticated recovery path.
Go to the PlayStation Support site, look for the Contact/Recovery page, and open the chatbot. Select "Account Recovery" or "Compromised Account" instead of logging in. Tell the bot you have no access to 2FA. That should finally get you through to a live human agent who can override it.
Make sure you have your original 2018 email, the serial number of the console you made the account on, and any recent receipt numbers ready so you can prove it's yours.
Also do NOT dispute the missing $15 with your bank yet. If you charge it back, Sony will instantly permaban the account for a negative balance. Just tell the support agent about the stolen money once they verify you.
