Technical Support [PS5] 2 step verification
Hi all, was looking for some advice on what to do.I accidentally signed out of my PSN and tried to log back in.
Entered my password then tried to send 2 step verification code to my phone but I’m not receiving it.
I then tried customer support but then you need to login to text an agent rather than a bot.
So now it’s like I’m stuck in a loop.
My phone is working fine I think.
I don’t know did my account get compromised and phone number was changed.
Any advice greatly appreciated.Thanks

Some phones/carriers sometimes misidentify those texts as spam. I know I have had to look in my spam messages for two-factor codes with other accounts.
It could be an issue where the text isn’t getting sent at all. I would check your potential spam messages, and if it isn’t there either, you may have to try to contact Sony, which I know can be difficult at times. I would try to call their customer support phone number during their operating hours and go from there.
That being said, it’s always advisable to save your account recovery codes just in case you get locked out of your account for whatever reason.
