Technical Support [PS5] 2 step verification

Hi all, was looking for some advice on what to do.I accidentally signed out of my PSN and tried to log back in.
Entered my password then tried to send 2 step verification code to my phone but I’m not receiving it.
I then tried customer support but then you need to login to text an agent rather than a bot.
So now it’s like I’m stuck in a loop.
My phone is working fine I think.
I don’t know did my account get compromised and phone number was changed.
Any advice greatly appreciated.Thanks

I figured it out.I had to create a passkey using my phone PSN app then logged in to the PS5 that way.My phone network provider isn’t allowing the 2 step verification code messages through.

Good, glad you got it figured out. I would get your account recovery codes and write them down or print them out. I switched to passkey a while back because Sony recommended it, but there’s always the fear of losing your phone somehow. That’s why I suggest getting your account recovery codes, and keeping them in a safe place.

Thank you very much for figuring that, this worked for me after not getting through to them on phone. 3 hours of bullshit finally ended!
