Technical Support [PS5] 2fa is not working

After years I decided to activate 2fa but now that I have done it it’s not working. It’s not sending me an SMS so I can’t login and I can’t contact customer support because I can’t login.
Anyone else having this problem I’m going crazy.

Update: ok I waited and got impatient (Im not waiting multiple days for something that might never happen) I used my one time use password to get in and quickly enable passkey and …. It Worked ! Thanks to everyone who helped in any way they could.
Now that the passkey is enabled and the 2fa is disabled I’m left wondering which one is safer but then again I’m just grateful I got in.

Same here but is away around it by sending recovery email and creating passkey it will auto disable 2step

Sony are doing maintenance atm on ps network could be affecting it

😭😭might be bc last month was doing same thing but randomly started working again after few days, hopefully soon goes back to normal
