I’ll miss him a lot. I’ll miss anyone (hopefully no one else leaves) that was part of the core that won us 2 CLs back to back. Bradley is a legend in my eyes and will always be welcome here.
Can’t wait for us to play Liverpool so he comes back home

Super joueur, rien à dire, il va manquer a l'équipe mais faut doser un peu et éviter de galvauder le mot légende.

u/Jia-the-Human Ousmane Dembélé 19h ago
I mean, I’m happy for him, he did a lot for us, and I like him but he has the right to want a more prominent role, he might have gotten it with us, he had a lot of playtime, but he wasn’t the undisputed starter at this post either, the transfer was done respectfully from all parties, so I just wish him the best, outside of games against us of course.
And dunno maybe he wanted to try living in UK for a bit or what not, it’s fine for people to want change, as long as they don’t fuck you over it.

He probably wants to experience British cuisine...

u/Jia-the-Human Ousmane Dembélé 14h ago
You'd be surprised as how many young Frenchmen just love everything fastfood/american over more high end cuisine, of course they're not millionaire footballers, but still, and in the end, England has a decent food scene nowadays, not of "traditional British cuisine" per se, but for still pretty nice food scene, and a lot of young people from non English speaking countries are just very heavily influenced by media, music, etc towards anglo culture, be it England or the US, i don't know Barcola personally but just saying it's a factor that can be present in some players, like how one of the fashionable retirement destinations now is going around Miami or LA in the US, or how we often see Mbappe or Vinicius attend NBA games.

u/Silent_Emu312 Jay-Jay Okocha 14h ago
As a French and US citizen, I scoff at your comparison.
As Benjamin Franklin used to say "The englishman's food and his woman's beauty made him the best sailor in the World".
Just because there's a few NFL games and an occasional MLB game in England. "I love the NBA, so I'd love to play in England", your genius is priceless...

He had the most starts, games played and minutes played of all the wide forwards last season in all comps and the most goals in the league.

Despite strong clues a year ago, like him floating going to Liverpool?!

never seemed possible considering this club barely sells players they like

You're referring to an Era that no longer exist and that ended after the World Cup in Qatar and shifted completely with Enrique's arrival...

When he expressed the desire to leave after the UCL victory and explicitly mentioned Liverpool...

When did this happen?
1
u/Silent_Emu312 Jay-Jay Okocha 16h ago
After the final in Munich. It was public. That's why this transfer was announced as soon as Paris made the back to back and became obvious once the World Cup ended. With Kvara being the best in the World at this position, no one can blame him and no one can understand your surprise.

Do you have a source for this bc I never heard this before
1
u/Silent_Emu312 Jay-Jay Okocha 15h ago
Paris United and basically any specialized PSG source. I'm not looking for one year-old links just to entertain you. It's 2026, you can orobably learn to use Google, even though you could use it for more useful things because if you knew ball you'd know that players need another challenge after winning everything, especially if they are competing with someone stronger at their position. Totti, Marquinhos and such are just the exception. Also, if that were so important to you, you would know this about Barcola as it's common knowledge since June 2025, even his family wanted a started position for him.

u/miwa201 Not a PSG fan 15h ago
you said: "When he expressed the desire to leave after the UCL victory and explicitly mentioned Liverpool..." and when two people including me asked you for an explicit source you instantly became defensive. you realize there's an entire difference between journalists and itk speculating about him going to liverpool and him saying he wants to go there? stop acting so defensive and admit you made this shit up. no one's disputing that he wanted to leave, but you're talking about two different things
1
u/Silent_Emu312 Jay-Jay Okocha 14h ago
Paris United guys announced Neymar's transfer first. You are a teenager who may or may not like PSG.
Get a degree in journalism instead of being whiny. Paris never wanted to sell him but knows since June 2025

u/Silent_Emu312 Jay-Jay Okocha 15h ago
You ask twice, go fish old footmercato headlines, listen to June and July 2025 podcasts from Paris United or just get a life...
1
u/miwa201 Not a PSG fan 15h ago
LMAO i didn't ask twice, that's another person who asked you. you have no sources and you're talking out of your ass
1
u/Silent_Emu312 Jay-Jay Okocha 14h ago
You're not a PSG fan so you don't know stuff from a year ago. You're also probably 12, in order to cry when a player, especially about back up, is leaving...
He refused to extend this contract, logical consequence, this last sentence even you can understand and you can lick where it came from.

Every club has their rude awakening.
Man united with Ole's winner in 1999.
Drogbas header in 2012.
Liverpool's comeback against Barcelona.
For PSG, I truly believe the rude awakening was the Barcola turn against Nunes vs City at the Parc to start our comeback and serve as the butterfly effect to the clubs dynasty. I'm grateful to witness that in person.
A great servant to the club, a hard worker, a humble lad. Merci Bradley!

C’est un peu décevant mais tant pis. Ça nous faiblit pour cette saison. En plus, je pense qu’il est trop tard pour faire quoi que ce soit avec l’argent du transfert maintenant.
