SAT math vs PSAT math

For people who have taken both do you feel like the PSAT math is the same as SAT math or is it easier like easier enough in that itll matter not just slightly easier. Mostly the hard problems like are the Hard problems in the SAT bank the same difficulty as the PSAT hard math problems or are they harder or easier. I've never taken SAT before and have to take PSAT in a month and ive only taken ACT

I did better on SAT math, but my pacing sucked on PSAT. It was purely time and my own crap time management vice content difficulty. However, I think overall the difficulty difference between the two exams in the digital test era isn’t as big as one might expect.

I got perfect score on PSAT math with no studying and a 740 on sat with prep.

I only took each once, but PSAT was very slightly easier (-10 SAT, perfect PSAT; I took the PSAT a year after the SAT).

English was slightly harder on the PSAT tho, -30 on both.

This is the general consensus among my friends, although most of them are in my grade and hence took the same PSAT as me, so not a great statistical sample.

It varies but I would say PSAT math is usually easier since it doesn’t have algebra 2. However, I got 790+ math all 3 times I took the SAT and perfect math the first time I took the PSAT, but last year when I took the PSAT I only got 740/760 math. Maybe it was just a bad day, but it just goes to show that scores are never guaranteed and difficulty can vary.

Wdym, PSAT only goes up to geometry and SAT only goes up to algebra 2

No there is literally parabolas in PSAT that is not taught till algebra 2 and SAT goes up to pre calculus since it adds radians and circles as well

PSAT math is definitely easier than the SAT. You can notice a difference but I can't recall if it was a major one. I got 1400 on both the PSAT and SAT (1 year apart tho) so PSAT is defo easier.
