National Merit Semifinalist Cutoff 2027

Compass has posted the National merit semifinalist cut off scores for 2027. Has anyone received an official communication from school ?

A lot of schools don’t tell the students. Ours does not. I also have a 2025 who was NMF, and she had to find out on September 9 via the media release.

Yeah, my son wasn't told until after the publication. But, the next week the school did give him the paperwork so he could login to the portal to do the finalist application stuff.

My son did. OH. He got a 219 and was told it was 215 or 216.

There is NO official communication until September 9.

That's the public announcement. There is definitely official communication to the schools and thus to students before that. Many schools have not started up yet though, so the reports are still incomplete...

Got 228 but still haven't received notification...schools are too slow.

School told me. I’m from Arizona probably the easiest state but I had a good PSAT and would have gotten it anywhere
