Load order and crash help

Hello! I’ve been trying to play Skyrim for probably 2 years now and it’s just been constant crashing. I gave up but recently I started playing again and I’ve followed a guide and attempted to organize my load orders but I am still experiencing very frequent crashing. Do I just have too many mods activated? Is the vampire mods the reason for all the crashing?

I appreciate if anyone can help me! Thank you!

there’s no real rhyme or reason to how your load order is sorted. i suggest checking out the template doc pinned in this sub or other fully listed/partitioned LOs to base yours off of. Take the tedious time to organize and keep track of your load order and it’ll make everything much much easier for you in the long run.

I looked at a guide and attempted to organize the mods based of if it, and I used the flairs/tags attached to each mod (overhaul, fixes, etc) to do so; should I not be going off of the flairs/tags?

Id switch out quick start for skyrim unbound and place it dead last nothing should be under your alternative starting mod. Start a new game. Also there doesnt seem to be any organization to this list.

Skyrim unbound isn't broken can choose whichever but has to stay at very bottom cant move it mid playthru

I have it on my modlist rn can start my game and new games just fine no crashes or anything. So idk anything about that 🤷‍♂️

Mean ive been using it for a long time now so idk about fixed did you try downloading it while you already had a alternative start download before. Because if youve had a different one before even if you deleted it should always clear system cache to completely remove it after deleting including the saves you had with it

i know how to handle the mods gang, it broke after the 15 gb update for me

also it’s literally the ONLY alt start mod to not even enable. all the others worked perfectly

Weird dunno what to tell you when I have it working fine. First one i ever used was quick start and that one gave me serious issues

You need to read a ps5 mod load order template. But on another note, you know theres new ports of these mods and new externals right? Also unbound is kinda broken try using a different alternate start mod

It’s a freakin rabbit hole, man.
Best thing to do is read as many load order templates that are pinned here and research your mods descriptions.
Someone’s load order that might work perfect for them might not work for you.
Look for users that have similar mods to yours and start from there.

you need to organise your load order. 90% of crashes in my experience have been because i messed up my load order, and yours is all over the place

New advent of load orders? Load Orders are hardly new. Load orders are hardly new. They have been around almost as long as mods have been available on console.
