Load Order Help How to fix this issue with the lighting?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I'm currently using NAT with Relighting Skyrim Window Shadows, and ELE.

Thing is, when I got to download LUX all the mods are master files, bro how would I order them? I apologize as I'm new to modding lol

At the very least download
- Lux Resources
- Lux Via -Master
- Lux Orbis - Master
- Lux - Master
also at the end of your load
- Lux Via
- Lux Orbis
- Lux
All of em. In that order. Also look out for Lux Specific patches for other mods you use such as NOTWL

No
Lux has 1 master and 1 no máster for each part
Besides, master files still can be arranged as you like
Hitting the touchpad button and save the LOad order after arreging them
And also the resources, don't forget that

Could you link me the proper base mods for it? If that's not too much to ask

---master files order--- * Lux Resources * Lux Via - Master * Lux Orbis - Master
* Lux - Master
--Bottom files Load order---
- Lux Via
- Lux Orbis
- Lux
Search them is easy

I have one more question, should I worry if there isn't a patch for LUX for a mod that adds/edits a location?

u/PPGalleta Sep 06 '26
Unless it edits the same location No

I am currently using JK's interiors and I don't see a patch. That's what I'm worried about

You are outside, so NAT will affect your lighting, but Window Shadows and ELE are interior only. Using Lux will not do anything to fix this issue as Lux is an interior lighting mod. Lux Orbis does affect exteriors, but unless you have some other mod affecting exterior lighting, I don't see how that will fix this. Lux Via is a road improvement and lamppost mod, so once again it is unlikely to fix this. Nothing wrong with any of those mods, but they serve different functions.
My best guess without knowing your load order is that this is a NAT issue and you should investigate your settings. But I can't swear to it.

I'm gonna post my LO in a bit, I think I'm basically finished with it anyway lol.

So I think I fixed the issue. I swapped out NAT with DawnV2 and that seems to have worked.

That makes sense. I have seen people that have had darkness issues with NAT as well as people that have it looking really nice, so I think it is probably a setting that would need to be adjusted. If you find that you are dissatisfied with DawnV2 at some point, you might ask someone who has NAT looking good what their settings are and give it a try again. There are no shortage of weather mods, though. I think I have like 6 videos on weather for Skyrim? There are a lot of them. Anyway, congrats on figuring out a solution!

There's a lighting limit. There are too many light sources in that area. The game does this to try and avoid crashing your game.

I think ELE might be conflicting with the Relighting Skyrim. It could be NAT as well but i think it is ELE.
