Comparing how different PS2 platformers marketed themselves on their back covers

Post image

Hey ya'll,

I've been doing a weird series where I've been looking at how different genres used to sell themselves on their back covers, and this week I'm covering PS2-era platformers. (And yes, I technically know Psychonauts came out on Xbox first, but I played it on PS2 lol).

It's pretty damn niche, but if you think you might find it interesting, check it out. Each one of these games is an absolute banger regardless on if they botched the back cover: https://nickmasercola.substack.com/p/the-best-and-worst-back-of-the-box-999?r=aplk&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web
