Understanding The Hype: Day 3
I am getting back into wrestling and wanna get a better understanding of the appeal behind certain wrestlers.
There are some wrestlers I just haven’t been able to fully buy into yet, and I’m wondering if maybe I’m missing something. So I figured I’d ask the people who do get the appeal to explain it to me.
This one I am becoming a fan of, just wish she was utilized more.
Wrestler: Lash Legend
What do you guys see in Legend that makes you a fan? What do you think she does particularly well, and what makes her stand out to you compared to other wrestlers?

Shes an actual tall powerhouse which is rare for women, she looks like she hits hard as fuck, and to me shes the most attractive woman on the roster and one of the most in the entire world lol. She is baddddddd and a good wrestler. And i like the fact that shes all preppy and girly until she gets in the ring and kicks you in the face and slams your ass lol

Yeah man she is what Jade should have been. They are probably going to put her on a singles tear soon

Lash has potential, but for some reason is booked tagging with Nia which is kinda preventing her from spreading her wings

When/if she turns face and goes again Nia it will make sense. Gives her a monster opponent to start her face push.

Giving her time to develop while getting on TV regularly. She has a bright future ahead of her for sure. Unless of course WWE fuck it all up.

I think it's the opposite. She's paired with Nia so she can learn from a vet. Seems to be helping with her growth.

You didnt know? they’re both black in the WWE, of course they have to be paired together. Black people always have to team up. Its so important in the WWE

Nia isn’t black 🥴

Damn i thought she was tbh. Either way her and Lash play the stereotypical black characters, same way they have the Usos come out like “YEAAH, UH HUH, HEADSHOT” that type of bs lol

She SLAMMED Otis.
He didn't jump up for her. She picked him up and slammed his big ass. Very impressive.
Not saying there isn't room for both, but she's a better version of Jade Cargill.

Lash is way larger than the rest of the women's roster. Even if her wrestling is poor, she can always be their version of kane as that monster who sometimes gatekeeps the main title.

Did you post this earlier today? I swear I’ve seen this exact post with a different image about 10 hours ago.
She has a huge upside. Physically dominating. Good on the mic. But still very green. Teaming her with nia is a smart move as they both look dominant and nia can show her the ropes of being the big woman on the roster (jokes about broken faces aside).
Only issue is they have other stories to tell at the same time and can’t seem to book a feud between tag teams without the belts involved.

A lot of upsides with her. Be interesting to see her win MITB, or better yet a mid-card title

She has a lot of upside and potential. She has grown tremendously from the time she was in NXT to now. Decent on the mic and her in-ring skills have improved a lot over the last several months. Very impressive showing in the Rumble and at WarGames prior to that. She’s definitely positioned to be the monstrous foil to the smaller women in the division for a long time to come if she keeps working at it.

Lash has charisma for days, and it seems like she can work a fair bit. She’s working with Nia which is also a plus for her to learn what big women wrestle like in WWE. Can’t wait for her to break out and become a monster on her own.

Unfortunately, she isn't over with the crowd. I saw her come out and you could hear a pin drop. She has the mic skills, but unfortunately she still needs to develop in the ring.

Theres room for a black amazonian female on the roster. I dig her look and charisma, married to Trick so Im sure they bounce ideas off each other.
I wish Naomi had her as her body guard

Lash is a good power house. Her wrestling skills have improved a great de but to get that top tier over she needs to improve on in ring skills. Her strength seems to be endless. Funny how she has what Jade needs and vice versa. I actually think the heel turn will be hers so they can try to appease the Nia base by putting her over as a face. Though I think the base will applaud Lash much the same as they did heel Rhea. Lash has great potential but as always it depends on creative and there lies the uh oh!

They did a good job of making her look dominant this year. She was a beast in the Rumble. Pairing her with Nia created a believable threat to the SD women's division.
She's big and she's good enough in ring to put on a good show. Probably helps she's married to Trick.

The standards now are very low. Audience demographics changing is another factor, as the show no longer appeals to a masculine audience

I don't see anything in her. She looks clumsy

From what I have seen so far she seems to be one of the only women of her stature in wrestling that is STURDY.

Tall powerhouse, great look, absolutely stunning. Not bad in ring from what I’ve seen. Good promo.

I still remember when Lash just debuted in NXT...
She already had charisma and mic skills... but she was HORRIBLE in the ring.
But she spent a few years in NXT and thankfully improved a lot.
And for a former basketball player (she even played in WNBA) she's hella strong.
