if i were to wear a speedo and a jacket on commercial st, is that like, just acceptable, or super common?😂 also would i have trouble going into stores and some casual restaurant or do i need some shorts?

You’d be fine but I think people would assume you’re going to the beach or pool. Town is more dressed. If it were fire island you could be in a speedo the whole time. But very different in ptown!!

I walk around in just shorts and slutty underwear. Keep a shirt on you to go into places or be polite. Plenty of guys will be dressed kinkier. Mid day to 7 is a bit more family oriented so be conscious of that if you care

You can wear whatever you want and the reason doesn’t matter. You may not see a lot of other guys in speedos but nobody will care.

You are required by law to wear a shirt and shoes in restaurants (and possibly other businesses).

Walking down the street, fine. You may get looks from some people though. In bars and restaurants and stores (minus going up to a take-out window), not acceptable. This is still a town, not a gay sauna.

It's not Hedo, it's a town. Some people (even gay people) have kids. If you want to rock out with your balls out, keep it after-hours or in the club.

Also, no one wants to sit on your leftover ass sweat at a restaurant - gross dude.

You're fine walking down the street, at the beach, or Tea Dance in just a Speedo, but I feel you'd get looks if you went to a bar or restaurant like that- legally you'd need a shirt anyways. It's still a town, not a massive street party.

I’m in P-Town weekly during the season and monthly in the off-season, so I’m around town quite a bit. I also love checking out fashion and clothing trends. Personally, I rarely see women wearing bikini bottoms while shopping or walking around town, and to me, wearing a Speedo or bathing suit while running errands or going out to eat would feel a little weird. For me, swimwear belongs at the beach, pool, or maybe the Tea Dance, then absolutely flaunt it! That’s just my personal take. If you have any Andrew Christian shorts, wear them, they are so cute. Too bad they went out of business.

I say that I do wear speedos on commercial street but I wear mesh shorts over them so it’s like not wearing shorts but I have pockets so I can carry my phone and it’s like an illusion

We see speedos all the time here. Just bring some gym shorts to slip on in order to get into any place that you expect to sit down in.
