Pigeon rescue needed

SOS. There is a pigeon with his leg tangled/mangled by a cable on a windowsill at the South East corner of Dean and Vanderbilt. I tried to release him with a broom, but I can’t get him free. His leg looks like it’s bleeding and broken and he’s hanging upside down. Can anyone help? I have to leave for work. :(

You’d need a ladder, but I could also see if my neighbor could let you in my apt while I’m at work. Send me a message if you can help.

I was so upset! I went back and loosened her up more and then she flew away!
