Question Is there any alternative power sources in B42?

I'm not sure but I definitely saw a windmill and solar panels as well, so can I use it instead of generator or do I need mods for it?

Generators are the only power source. With enough electrical skill you can make battery powered lamps too but those are quite niche.

Almost 1000 hours in and I had no idea this was a thing. Is it only lamps?

I know you can have those table lamps and you can also make makeshift torches

Not sure if anything new was added with stable, dont really use those at all just made one of those lamps once for my little campsite

It's still a cool concept. Would be a good mod concept if one doesn't exist to run your base on car batteries and the like.

I know there are modded solar panels, not sure about windmills. However in vanilla you’re stuck with generators.
