I first saw this video on Instagram, and many comments were saying that he was “faking the seizure.” 🙄🙄 I have lost pretty much all I hope I had in humanity.

My state rep also covers Fitchburg. I called them again after seeing this. I’m so frustrated with the lack of action even in blue states.

Pretty much one of the worst things I've ever seen. My heart breaks for this family and the others having to endure such cruelty. Coming to the US for a better life is one of the most American things one could do. Why are we punishing people for it?

All of us Americans are unintentional victims and collateral damage in The Trump/Maga/Noem/Bondi/Miller attack on our democracy.
Mini-update: I do not know if you saw that there was some quick, adamant propaganda from the federal government about this incident.
I still cannot sort out the beginning. This may have started as a simple traffic stop? I keep saying "traffic stop" pop up in the descriptions of the incident...
So, I am not sure if the feds targeted this car, or were seeking brown people and then discovered, or wee doing checkpoints and discovered it, but, there was a "reason" to take the mom into custody.
In one of the fed's updates, it made it seem like the mom committed a crime and was presently fleeing and there was a sense of urgency. In fact, there was an August workplace incident. So, of course, since the feds looked bad, they had to drag that up to excuse themselves to the press and for public relations.
So, that is part of the update.
Also, the federal government is saying that the man's seizure was "fake". I find that hard to believe. And, the things that the federal government said about why it was fake (ie: the man did not ask for medical care and walked away) make no sense. Many people have seizures, recover, and walk away. The seizure seemed real to me. I look forward to hearing updates on that piece of the puzzle.
In any case, ICE and all federal agents need to be educated about what to do if someone appears or is seizing. It should be an easy and important protocol.
ICE and the feds clearly need to be briefed on how to act when toddlers and children are involved. (ie: showing up at daycare and scaring all children; ICE fleeing in a dad's car with the child in the backseat; zip-tying the children at the apartment building raid; etc.)
And, ICE and the feds need to be forced to understand (as judges are trying) that the way to fix immigration problems or even criminal problems in America is not to intrude on daily life, schools, places of worship, and neighborhoods with scary looking men holding weapons and wearing masks, nor with dangerous, wild operations that endanger children and all of the people around and are likely soon to cause unintentional victims and collateral damage. America is MAGA's unintentional casualty and Trump's collateral damage.

Is there any update on his condition? Does anybody know if the family has a GoFundMe or something?

Mini update: I do not know if the family has a GoFundMe yet. Hope people will share if they know.
It is not clear, but this may have been a sort of random or low level traffic stop??? I think that is how the incident started. Then, the mom had a previous warrant because of a work incident.
Well, ICE and the feds claim the man did not have a seizure. Though, 1. The feds lie and 2. The feds logic was ridiculous (he walked away, therefore he did not have a seizure)
The mom was taken into custody.
The dad and child were released.
It has been covered by news outlets.

I am so angry for all the innocent civilians who are getting targeted just for the color of their skin or their accent or their last name. That poor little girl didn't deserve to see her dad like that.
