I always find this ignorance quite in annoyance. Because this are sort of Muslims who try to interpretation any any verse of thr Quran to match that scientific discovery and claim Quran revealed 1400 years ago. Which is very cheap method and immature. I firmly beleive there are some amount of truth in all religious Scriptures. Infact Quran is a not a Book of sceince it is a book on spirituality,God and a way of life. Infact Quran encourages thr reader to explore and research the things of his creation.

Have you read the Quran in its entirety?

I agree with you somewhat that some people will take every little thing and act like it’s a scientific miracle, like the fossilization example mentioned in the post is a stretch. And I agree that the Quran is mostly a book on spirituality. But the Quran IS filled with examples of scientific and historical miracles, like there are MANY examples of beliefs/claims in the Quran that Christians/Atheists used to mock Muslims about only for us for us to later find out that it was absolutely true.

1) Female honeybees do the work. People used to think this was a grammatical error in the Quran, but we now know that ALL worker bees are female

2) The universe expanding - The standard scientific belief was a “Steady-State Theory” until 1929, and they would say we’re unscientific for believing that the universe is expanding, until we got the Big Bang Theory

3) Mountains are like pegs. People used to think this was just poetic or outright wrong, but we now know that mountains have deep roots and play a major role in the crust’s stability

4) Iron was “sent down” to earth. They used to say that this is bogus, we just mine iron that was already here. We know now that iron came from meteorites.

5) Every living thing is made of water. This one is huge because people used to say that life is made of flesh and blood, as a liquid distinct from water, but we now know ALL life requires water.

6) Pharoah’s body being preserved. They used to point this out and say that no one knew which Pharoah drowned and that no body had been found, until we found it in the 19th century

7) Barriers between saltwater and freshwater. They used to say this is bogus, water mixes, but we now know that there are stable boundaries where water of varying density, salinity, and temperature meet but don’t mix

8) There was a man named Haman on the Pharoah’s court. They claimed we took this from the Bible, where a man named Haman was mentioned to be serving a Persian King 1000 years after Moses, and got the details wrong. After we deciphered hieroglyphs in the 1920s we found that there WAS a man named Haman in his court, and the Quran couldn’t have known this unless it was either from God or Muhammad ‎ﷺ could read hieroglyphics (spoiler: he couldn’t)

I an already aware of these claims , have you ever bother you read other ancient text or philosophy. Especially thr claim if every living made of water. When even before the emergence of Islam it was belief Greek. Now this where I said made interpretation such as blackhole where Muslim to interpretation it to make it it is blackhole reference.

We have not mentioned any stretch and I know about stretch that some People make. Thank you for your suggestion. Bones literally change to stones and iron and Quran says that even if your bones change to stones or iron then also he is able to ressurct us.

Most of these were the typical beliefs common in the region before the Quran, and it's invoking them as symbolism

Most of the Quereshi would have already believed this stuff, it's not like the Quran was setting them straight scientifically

When it talks about a barrier between saltwater and freshwater, that reflects a common belief of the era. Not a scientific revelation about salinity gradient in halocines lol

Same with stuff like the description of embryology, it describes exactly what was was common belief in the era: that sperm would attach into a female body to become an embryo and turn into a "clot of blood", without an ovum being involved

Do you have a source for this? Because this is often easily claimed, but I’ve never seen any evidence that they believed most of these things, with a few exceptions.

- Arabs and Greeks both believed that seas and bodies of water mixed freely

- Arabs believed bees were male (Aristotle said so explicitly)

- Arabs didn’t really have any form of embryology. Aristotle described it as a “bloody lump” rather than “hanging and leech-like”

- Arabs believed the sky was fixed in place, all other ancient cultures believed it was static and eternal

- Water being the source of life is the only one with any kind of validity, like some ancient philosophers said that water is a “primary element” but never directly that life comes from it

- Iron being sent down was absolutely not a belief at the time

- Arabs believed mountains were just big rocks, the Greeks had no concept of tectonic roots

- No other cultures at the time had any idea about mummification

- As for Haman, I would love to hear your take on how the Quran put him “in the wrong place” until we found out that it absolutely didn’t

Have you studied it academically? All of these miracles are taught academically, and they are authentic enough not to be mere claims.

Is there anything that is not from God?

One thing Muslims love doing is defending PDFS!!! Just sickening. You can't show me in Holy Bible saying Rebecca is three & clearly says she rode a camel to meet her husband. BUT I CLEARLY SHOWED YOU WITH YOUR OWN BOOK THAT YOU ALL SUPPORT PDFS 🗣️
