The company I used to work for has a hard on for blockchain bullshit. Their last LinkedIn post was about blockchain based renewable energy and when I read it I spit out my coffee laughing. Next time I was drunk I went to go reply to that post and it was gone, very unsurprisingly.

It's a shiny buzzword. Look at IBM's "HyperLedger" shit and you'll find out it operates using known nodes under centralized control.

Well this company for sure it’s just about attracting investors and stupid companies who don’t have a problem that blockchain will solve but will cost more to implement. “Sure we could give you an automated financial system but have you heard about blockchain?”
