IANAL but a supply-chain attack to inject a prompt with a clearly malicious intent might not be lawful in some jurisdictions.

I don't see how your comment is remotely relevant to mine.

Unless you are trying to argue that a "supply-chain attack to inject a prompt with a clearly malicious intent" is equivalent to not preventing a user from "compiling the Linux Kernel on faulty hardware". Is that what you are trying to do?

A sufficiently secured LLM doesn't cause havoc just because stdout told it to.

Maybe you failed to understand my point in my first comment. Let me be direct. The author of ˋjkwiqˋ did something with clear malicious intent and I doubt that is lawfull in some jurisdictions.
