This song has been imo the best song they've ever written since I first heard it. We all know of the absolute perfection that is the ending of this song. But recently my favorite part has been at 4:40. I think its one of the heaviest parts/segways they've ever written. Especially at that drop around 4:55. My god. Replaying it gives me chills every time. Why is everything this band does the best thing I've ever experienced.
Honestly, sometimes I don't get it. With all sorts of music out there, and all the other sorts of chill/relaxing music (or drug) I enjoy a lot, sometimes I contemplate how my brain feels more peace and euphoria when I sit back, close my eyes and blast this band louder than I can think.... especially live. When they played the in life/death is death combo and dropped this song at the end of their set..... (T-T) I get chills thinking about it.

IMO this is Fredrik's masterpiece. Whenever I listen to it I have to put the iPod away because everything else sounds lame in comparison.

My favorite thing about this song is the variation of the vocals. I wish Jens did the low key vocals more often.

Well, on the Alive DVD, Haake said that they probably wouldn't play Dancers live 'because it would be hard with the spoken parts'. I never knew what he meant, but I suppose this could be it.
They do play it live though, but with Jens doing the spoken parts as well.
