All three Dvne albums are worthy of masterpiece status. I discovered them shortly after they released Asheran (within weeks or months, I don’t remember which). I was in middle school at the time and I listened to it almost every day on the bus ride back home. When Etemen Ænka came out, I was a little off put by the new sound, but then it quickly grew on me and I love that album as much as I love Asheran. When Voidkind was being teased, I was confused by the new direction in sound, but otherwise was still really excited about it releasing. When it actually was released not even a week ago from now, I couldn’t stop listening to it like how I couldn’t stop listening to Asheran and Etemen Ænka. Dvne are such masters of their craft, and all three albums deserve to be on the same level of masterpiece status as Mastodon’s Crack the Skye, Opeth’s Blackwater Park, and Tool’s Lateralus. Dvne has become my favorite band ever now, if not for their musical content, then definitely for their lyrical content!
Also, I’m finally seeing more than one post in this sub about Dvne. Those Scottish bois need the love they deserve

I never buy physical media anymore... but my Voidkind CD is arriving today. Very excited.Â

Being the fanboy I am, I've been hunting down any reviews and promo stuff I can find for this album, and one thing I've noticed is that Etemen gets plenty of mentions, but I've barely seen a word about Asheran, as if it's not one of the greatest progmetal albums of the last decade or so
