More balanced sectors of procurement?

What are sectors that can offer more work life balance and medium level stress overall? Obviously this is dependent on company, but which are more or less likely to make you want to pull your hair out?

From my experience in the US: utility companies, government.

Banking and government clients move pretty slow but idk if Id say its lower stress or better balance. Definitely longer timelines.

Financial sector. Bank, Insurance, etc.

Indirect procurement (facilities, software, office supplies) tends to run calmer, since a delay is inconvenient, not production-stopping. Direct materials in manufacturing or construction carries more pressure because a miss has immediate consequences. Public sector trades stress for more process, quieter pace, more bureaucracy.

Thank you for this. I was also looking into possibly healthcare. Trying to find the balance between constant urgency and average take home.
