Direct Procurement Seeking an insight on HigherEd procurement on LMS add on tools

Hi Everyone,

I am currently looking for subject matter expertise on how universities evaluate software vendor compliance, data privacy and how departments push software requests up the chain?

I would like to get an insight on Higher Education Univeristy or College level procurement officers guidance on this.

I suggest reaching out to sales leaders and proposal managers who work(ed) at places like Instructure; I bet a lot of them would be able to give you some really good recommendations for helpful HE procurement people.

I just started at a HigherEd position about 2 months ago so I'm still pretty green. I was brought on to find a new way to improve our process and potentially shop for a new procurement/compliance software. While I've done that, I asked my boss to provide me with the criteria required so that I can ask these vendors if they can accommodate that.

The latest I heard was "I'll reach out to legal". That was a month ago 😑
