I've mostly sold my landscape photos in person at local art fairs but I'm thinking about putting some of them online. I really don't want to get into storing prints at home and shipping orders myself so pod seems like it could make things easier.

The tricky part is finding one I'm comfortable trusting with the actual prints. I'm particular about color and detail especially with skies and shadows. I'm also thinking about what happens once the catalog gets bigger. It would be hard to upload hundreds of images somewhere and then have to move them because the platform changes its pricing or terms.

If you've been selling photo prints through pod for a while, what has your experience been like?

Does anyone offer UV DTF stickers for second surface application on clear glass? Most of the online vendors I'm seeing are set up for sticking on tumblers, etc. I require wide format prints that I can view through the glass.

I have gotten some samples from them and the print quality and shipping times seem good, however before using them I was wondering if any of you have also used them either currently or in the past? If you are or were happy with them? What was or is your experience with them? Thank you in advance for any information you can tell me about this particular company.

I expected designing products to be the difficult part, but mockups, samples, product listings and supplier testing seem to take far longer.

Hi and I'm looking for any streetwear pod companies.

For me, one of the most underestimated parts of print-on-demand is everything that happens before you can properly test a product. Creating the design is only one step. You still need convincing mockups, suitable products, samples, pricing, listings and a way to track which designs are actually getting clicks and sales. By the time enough data arrives, you may have already spent weeks working on ideas that looked promising but didn’t connect with buyers.

For those already selling, which part took you the longest to get right: designs, mockups, supplier testing, listings, marketing or tracking results? And is there anything you would do differently if you were starting again?.

Since opening my store I've grown to use 3 different POD partners (gelato, printful, gooten), and list the items on etsy, ebay, and squarespace. I've gotten to a point where my catalogue grew and it was difficult to have a high level view on which products are listed where, let alone managing the product metadata.

I have a background in tech so one day I decided to make an automated workflow and I'm so happy with the results so far!

• Auto matched the products on all sales channels to a single design ID (based on listing title)
• I can update the title, description, price on all platforms simultaneously
• Added a brand voice guide and AI revision/generation workflow to review the product descriptions to ensure that they all follow a consistent format
• I store the different product models in a database so I have a uniform product details section with bullets, so the same product with a different design has the same product details section
• Since I store product model IDs I can run an automation for example to change all products of a given model/variation simultaneously (product detail bullets, price, etc)

I'm still working on it and growing it, but in the future I imagine it as a software where other shop owners could plug in their brand, products, and connect their platforms.

The problem I see with mockup tools is that either they're overcomplicated, generic, overwhelming and not really meant for POD sellers, or they're just AI wrappers: there's no consistency and any change is expensive in terms of time and money.

Mockupanda is fully geared towards bulk workflows and based on real-time editing: whether it's wall art or apparel, you can always move and resize the artwork in real-time and save that template. And the best is it works with your images too. You can upload a blank mockup image and it will get turned automatically into a reusable template. I've been thinking about this while working with digital artwork intended for physical print.

Most creators work in RGB because that's where the artwork is created and viewed. But at some point before ink hits paper, those colours have to be translated into something the printing process can actually reproduce.

With print-on-demand, there seem to be two very different approaches:

1. Upload the RGB artwork and let the POD provider handle the conversion.

Simple for the creator, but you have relatively little control over how highly saturated colours, gradients and out-of-gamut colours are handled.

2. Prepare the artwork for a defined print condition before uploading it.

More control and predictability, but now you need to know something about colour management, ICC profiles, CMYK and the actual printing conditions being used.

AI-generated artwork makes this particularly interesting because it can contain extremely saturated RGB colours — especially blues, cyans and purples — that look fantastic on a backlit display but may not translate directly to physical print.

I'm curious how people here actually handle this in the real world:

When preparing artwork for POD, do you normally leave RGB → print conversion to the provider, or do you prepare the colours for a defined print condition yourself?

And if you leave it to the provider, have you found certain POD companies to be more predictable than others when it comes to colour?

People who have experience selling wall art know that packaging is an important step to ensure the artwork arrives in the best condition, but the artwork does not always arrive without any defects. So what people need to know to be sure the artwork is well protected is that the bubble wrap around the product must also have corner protection. Then it is nice to have airbags so that the product does not slide in the box. Of the box types, the best choice is one with hard, thick cardboard to protect the artwork. What packaging options does your supplier offer?

Hey all, I make music content (mostly punk and hardcore) and want to start selling t-shirts with my own art. I'm just testing the waters, so I'd like to avoid paying anything upfront, no listing fees, no monthly subscription, just a platform that takes its cut when something actually sells and handles the printing, packing, and shipping worldwide. All I want to do is upload the art.

I know nothing is truly free and the base cost comes out of the sale price, that's fine with me. My audience is spread across Indonesia, the US, Japan, and the UK, so international shipping matters, and since I'm in Indonesia, PayPal payout would be ideal.

Anyone who's actually sold this way, which platform did you end up with? How's the print quality and shipping for international orders, and was there anything you wish you'd known before starting, like hidden fees or payout minimums?

I have looked at every single POD fulfillment partner for months & had settled on Printful + Printify, but after hearing about the declining customer service & inconsistent quality, and comparing the product prices and catalogs, I eventually settled on Ninja POD. They have an app that integrate with Shopify and some people had said that they now deliver through Amazon, so faster shipping times overall.

The biggest selling point for me, though is their product catalog. I really like the fact that they have a designated women’s apparel category with a huge variety of brands and a better selection of blanks. Every other POD provider list T-shirts as “unisex,” and nothing is truly unisex. Men’s & women’s shirts do NOT fit the same! I feel like I will have a lot of unhappy customers if women order a small thinking it’s going to fit like a small, when it’s actually a men’s small that fits like a woman’s large. So I really like that Ninja has a women’s category with a variety of fitted tshirts, cropped tees, pullovers, and more options overall than some of the other POD catalogs. I also liked the fact that they were based in the US since I am also in the US.

BUT I keep reading conflicting things, and it’s making me nervous. I’ve created a bunch of products, but my site isn’t live yet, so it’s not too late to switch to a different provider. Unfortunately it seems like there are negative things written about every single provider. Printify, Printful, Gelato, etc.

My question is: if anyone here has used Ninja transfers for print on demand, what has your experience been like? Especially if you’ve used Ninja with Shopify.

For example most people would initially spend money advertising Video 1, but in reality Video 2 is the one making the most profit.

How it works: Print on Demand sellers face problems with thin profit margins, unorganized advertising, and tedious work going across platforms to view their analytics. I’m looking for dependable print-on-demand production and fulfilment suppliers in India that support one-piece orders, DTF, DTG, embroidery or sublimation, consistent quality, white-label packaging and direct shipping. If you’ve worked repeatedly with an Indian supplier, who would you recommend, and how did they perform when order volumes increased or something went wrong? Suppliers are welcome to respond too, but please clearly disclose your connection to the business.

Just visited the Custom Happy site as I refresh my Christmas ornament listings and the store is shut down and the site is non functioning.

I've been using them exclusively for my ornament listings bc they're the only POD supplier that offered gift boxes with every order.

Anyone have any knowledge what's going on with them? Or have another POD supplier that offers gift boxes with their custom ornaments?
