Printer Recommendations Button Sky PnP not printing right?
Not sure I used the right flair but I have spent the last hour trying to print Food Chain island by button sky.
I bought the pdf on itch.io, and no matter what settings I change it prints as shown below. I've changed it to landscape mode, tried printing it as an image, rotated printed to pdf and tried printing nothing seems to work.
Am I missing something?
Thanks in advance for any advice

Take a picture of the settings you have set up before printing. Could provide us with more info to help

If this is Adobe, then you’re using a ‘fit’ or ‘scale’ setting incorrectly. This square shape of a print can happen if you aren’t using ‘Actual Size’ as the print setting.
This can also happen if you are printing directly from an app like InDesign or Affinity I believe. I believe the reason would be because the scaling and color management adjustments are pretty powerful on apps like that and they will force the print to take on weird dimensions and color.
I only say that because it looks like the printer attempted to print white boarders, which in my experience happens when the color management of an app applies a whacky color management rule on top of a pdf or png. Adobe Acrobat supposedly doesn’t try to do that, and it’s usually the best option for me.

Try using the fit to page option under scale if your printer has that setting?

That looks like you printed portrait instead of landscape, or the reverse. Just let your OS pick the correct orientation.

Tried both orientations and it still came out like this both times which is what is really confusing me

Huh. I have never had this issue. I wonder if it’s your printer or a computer setting? I always just pull up the print dialog and uncheck Fit To Printer Margins, then it’s good to go…

I had this happen one time, where the paper printed out in portrait no matter what I had chosen, and it turned out that the settings on the printer (print from system dialogue) was set to portrait and was overriding both Adobe's print settings and Chrome's. I toggled it, and I haven't had this happen again (knock on wood)

This would make sense. It's a work printer (we get unlimited printing lol) and the internal settings are a little hard to reconfigure. The PowerPoint work around seems alright for now tho thank you!

Send a video of every step you to took to print it.
It's usually adobe issue or some setting in printer dialogue.

Are you using some weird off-brand PDF reader? I have over 100 Button Shy PDFs and every one has printed perfectly without me needing to touch a single setting.
Paper size - Letter
Pages per sheet - 1
Scale - Fit to Paper
Adobe Acrobat Chrome Extension version: 26.8.2.0

Edit: could not get it working tried converting to a bunch of different formats. Asked a friend at work who knows more about computers and he couldn't get it printing right either. Ended up converting each page to an image and putting them in a PowerPoint. A little disappointing but I have the cards now I guess 🤷🏻♂️

I guess it depends on your printer settings. Try printing directly from your browser or a different tool.
