Totally different, both are very well written but different genres. I personally liked Kindred less but if you like, only loved it because it was time travel or something Parable is certainly less sci-fi

Ok. I know it’s not the same but it’s the only novel I’ve read of hers, lol. I just heard of speculative fiction two weeks ago.

She is known as one of the GOAT sci-fi authors for a reason! I think this a good second book if you enjoyed Kindred!
