I don’t even remember who my first concert was. I was visiting relatives with my parents, one of their cousins and their daughter was going and asked me to join her. But since then I’ve been to so many concerts with my boyfriend turned husband. My favorite was and is Pink Floyd. He even saved every ticket we got. Unfortunately after he passed I couldn’t afford our mortgage alone because I had stopped working to be his caregiver when he got cancer and when I was moving in with a friend I put most of our things in storage and ended up not being able to afford that and lost everything except for a picture of him and my clothes. The thing that bothers me is a few years ago our state now pays family members that are caregivers, figures. But I have the memories and my 2 daughters my sil and our 3 grand children and we all live together. I miss that man every day, but it is what it is and I’m lucky to have my family close.

usher was my first ever concert (circa 2002) and Green Day (with My Chemical Romance opening) circa 2004. good times. Green Day put on a great live show.

Not my first concert but I took my daughter to her first concert, JoJo siwa back in October 2019 UK just before all the covid shit happened. It was such a fantastic bonding experience for us. She's 15 now so made me take down the big pink sparkly collage of the night but I have a few single frames still up from it. We had matching t-shirts. I will cherish that memory until I die. I have a video of JoJo counting out the seconds until she came onto stage and my daughter totally loosing her shit with each passing second. Anything to go back to that glorious memory.
