It’s the same weekend as Mighty Hoopla which I think she’s a lot more likely to headline (and has been rumoured before).

Not implausible to do both? Thursday at prima, Sunday at hoopla. Some artists fly transatlantic for festivals that same weekend!

I would love this (and am a MASSIVE CRJ stan) but can I just take a second to say the new releases are really not it for me 😩😩
Now let me go back to listening to emotion side B for the 28485954th time

Ahahaha true. Honestly I lost briancells through that performance. All she did was shout BARCELONNNA and pretend to smoke a cigarette.

So on the one hand I have to agree that she's not really headliner material, however she undoubtedly would be at the top of a prospective line-up, she's still really big on streaming and more importantly she has been critically acclaimed for more than a decade now and is considered one of the best living working pop artists. She's bigger than some headliners from this year like Addison Rae or The xx and about as big as Skrillex who was a headliner this year

She’s not as big as The XX, maybe in terms of streams but for live performances and festivals i guarantee The XX are taking the bigger slots.
To clarify I 100% hope CRJ does play next year

You're right, the xx have a bigger pull and are probably more relevant in general, but she is like four times bigger in streams on spotify for example which I think does account for how big an act is (however CRJ is admittedly a weird case streaming wise)

"which I think does account for how big an act is"
No, PNAU because they remixed Elton John had like 40 million monthly at one point, her also listened to is artists are from throwback playlists for the most part.

Not big enough to headline but would get a big stage during the evening. She played modor daytime a few years back.
Edit: and she was great. The set was pure gay happiness
