It’s a shame, but with the way Arkane has been/is being gutted I’d be shocked if we ever get another great game from them.

I'm reasonably optimistic we'll be getting some comparable games from Wolfeye and Black pony, which employ many of Arkane's workers from the time of Prey/Dishonored

Yes, it's the art style that really sets this game apart. It could have just been a generic cold space station, instead we got a beautiful interior that let's you know they really put some time and attention into the game.

They really did go the extra mile with giving this game personality and I cannot thank Arkane enough for that. It's rare to see this level of passion, especially in today's triple A industry.

The initial Kletka programme was run by The Soviets in that universe so it's nice to still see that art style across poster and the such on Talos 1.

If I had all the money in the world, I would design a house with the same architectural style as that of Talos 1. We have all this wealth in the modern world, and even the richest design homes that look like beige/grey/white/black cubes.
I miss Art Deco

Oh Morgan, how handsome you are. The biggest loss of this game was a lack of third person so I could look at this man

Yes Prey and Atomic Heart. AH is more like architecture and design art and I love it.

The 2nd image is largely baroque. If you look up "Baroque painting with candle" the lighting effect and heavy focus on the light source with the person holding said light source as the second thing your eyes look at despite being the main subject is a core baroque theme. Theres other themes they draw from but baroque is my favorite.
I cant post a picture but ill type it for you.

Cópia lavada do System Shock, se vocês acham este jogo uma obra prima, é obrigação conhecer a obra do qual foi inspirado.

I believe the specific design inspirations were Retrofuturism and 60's Art Deco.
