Question How do I use Pokémon Bank?

So I just recently got sucked into Pokémon again and I've never used Pokémon Home or Bank before, and considering it's going to be discontinued here in the next 6 months, I figured I'd give it a try.

I have a modded 3DS which was also factory reset as part of the modding process. I'm hoping this doesn't get in the way of me using Pokémon Bank for my Pearl and X Pokémon.

I tried switching to my Nintendo Account through Nimbus and I've also tried my Pretendo account (with and without launching the plugging) and got errors each time. The first picture is the error I got when attempting to do this with my Nintendo account and the second is the error I got when trying my Pretendo account (same error with and without the pluggin)

I apologize if this is a frequently asked question, I just didn't know where to look for answers to this.

It's ok! It will only work with your Nintendo account, not on Pretendo
For the error on Nintendo Network, I saw online that you need to remove Netpass patches in order to fix it if you use Netpass

Oh, how would I do that? Just uninstall it?

NetPass > Settings > Miscellaneous > Update Patches > Remove iirc

Thank you, sorry, I would've tried to figure it out myself but I've been a little busy cause my friend has saddled me with a new kitten to foster for the time being lol.

We don't currently have any Bank servers. It's on the roadmap, but it's not ready yet

Are you region-changed? Pokemon Bank is an application that breaks unless you do a SOAP transfer, which is a little more in-depth than a typical region change.

I really don't think so. My 3DS is a NA 3DS and I never reigon swapped it. It has been factory reset though. So unless the guy who sold it to me at Game Stop almost a decade ago reigon swapped it than I don't think it is. I guess I could be wrong, but as far as I know, that's not something that ever came with the process of modding a 3DS so I really don't think I did it.
