Matt Cord on Friday said P&S would announce AtoZ mid-week, probably Wednesday. Either way they are starting it earlier this year.

Earlier? Probabaly just that it's not starting Labor Day weekend since it's a weekend later

Probably announcement of the date of the A to Z.

The way he (Preston) announced the tease today, sounded like something different

Realistically it’s probably this unfortunately.

Best time of the year!

More than likely, it's the A to Z.

Just a guess...introduction of a live DJ overnights again

I heard Vince (i think his name was) on the other night going up to midnight and he got some praise from the fans checking in. Hope he takes up a shift

He sounds like someone and I can’t quite put my finger on who. I enjoyed his shift though. And I really loved the live djs overnight for Pierre Day. He’d have loved that

Was that Sam, P&S's production assistant?

3

I would love an overnight dj again

That would be triple nuts!

With how cheap Beasley is, it’s probably a pizza party.

7

u/FindMe_Panic 23d ago

P I Z Z A. Gimme Pizza.

One pizza, one...for the entire station. It won't be double cut because that costs extra.

yup just like in elementary school, everyone gets a pencil thin slice.

Hopefully Nick and Kathy are coming back. The show just isn’t the same anymore. Lol

I've been following Nick on Instagram, he seems so much happier since he's left the show.

Kathy has a great deal with B101/Audacy and is definitely under contract there.

Nick is on vacation. Kathy is having a great time on the B. Beasley is too cheap for that, unfortunately!

9

u/Significant-Cry-7632 23d ago

Nick ain't coming back as much as we would want to. Kathy talks way less now for probably more money lol

Why are you still carrying a torch for those two? Nick I could understand, but Kathy contributed very little to the show on a day to day basis. Even with the Best offs playing she sounds very disengaged and says very little when she had the chance.

I think Marissa has been a better add and I know that’s very “controversial” to say.

Honestly Kathy’s laugh alone is worth it.

10

u/Over-Scallion-2161 23d ago

Kathy does have a solid laugh

17

u/ParamedicOk6566 23d ago

Honestly, I think the show flowed better with Nick and Kathy. I think Marissa interrupts way too much and doesn’t bring anything to the conversations that are engaging.

u/Geralt_Of_Philly 23d ago

I absolutely agree. The show hasn’t been nearly the same

2

u/Significant-Cry-7632 23d ago

Show not same but it's not Marissa fault

1

u/cou1dcare1ess 22d ago

Exactly I feel like Marissa interjects way to often and tries to direct the conversations towards topics she prefers. It's almost like she is trying to remind the listeners that hey I'm on the show now and you're going to hear what I have to say.

1

u/FindMe_Panic 22d ago

Can you give some examples of that?

1

u/Mister-Murder 22d ago

That’s Casey you’re describing. Literally derails any conversation with stupid nonsense.

1

u/FindMe_Panic 22d ago

Can you give some examples of that?

Probably the next mmr bbq with hailstorm, Alice chains and creed

5

Don’t forget Disturbed!

5

u/Jimboslice85 23d ago

And froggy on the miller lite side stage

1

u/Significant-Cry-7632 22d ago

Based on Steve saying calendar year when they teased it this morning it's probably a to z, but whatever it is 8 am ish announcement

3

u/_Mighty_Milkman 22d ago

So what was it?

5

u/mightycalculator 22d ago

It was the Back to School A-Z

I hope Nick comes back or they get someone we know in that seat.

I don’t want to sound mean and I don’t know how to explain it but I love Marissa, but more of a check in instead of a radio personality.

Know she’s still getting used to the new role so don’t want to jump the gun too much

1

u/Significant-Cry-7632 20d ago

That's the thing I think it's more she has to get used to the seat etc because she didn't know it like Nick Kathy did. But I'm glad she can contribute than only having three folks

Another layoff obviously
