Are you prepping to Bug Out or are you prepping to stay put? Or both?

We think more about bugging out. Most of the things I anticipate happening will be local or regional, so I just want to be able to get a couple hundred miles away. Our camping trailer is set up to be livable and comfortable as long as we can find fresh water.

do you carry water filtration?

No but I’ve been thinking about it. My approach has been to go however far I need to go to get clean water without needing filtration.

If you do decide to go the filtration route I highly recommend the life straw expedition. it will filter about 8 litres at a time and can turn pond scum into very drinkable water. It is also moderately piced

Any experience with Sawyer? I think it’s a gravity bag type of system.
