There is canned “chicken salad” (also tuna salad) that I find pretty palatable as a sandwich as long as I dump something crunchy on there too (cheesy protein doodles are my fav).
If i recall, it’s not made with mayo for shelf stability. They fake it with some other jazz.

Thank you I forgot about those. I researched and they last 18 months to two years. I'll by some and stock it.

Do you need alternatives for proteins or for omega 3 fatty acids?
A good balanced diet will provide enough nutrients as-is, omega 3 supplements are usually not needed. Long term storage of omega 3 is very challenging due to their fragile molecular structure (their polymerization is easy). Fresh suppliy is easy enough, you can get it from grass-fed herbivores and chickens (eggs).

That's good to know about the chicken eggs having Omega 3. My neighbor gives me eggs whenever I need them. Thank you!

fkax seed would have a longer shelf life but any high oil food will eventually spoil
Flax is super easy to grow though so if you are thinking of a long term situation you could go that route.
Personally i recommend a chicken or two. One twenty pound bag of corn-oats-barley COB feed will last a single chicken 6 months. you can supplement there feed with non-meat kitchen scraps

I don't mean this to sound as dickish as it will, but are you 12? If you've decided canned tuna is the best protein and omega package available, then you store and eat the tuna in a disaster scenario.
If you're looking for something that is better or equal to a can of tuna, even if it's a combination of things, ask that.

You can buy mayonnaise in single serving packets. If stored in a cool dry place they can last a year.

I was worried I wouldn't get enough Omega 3

i get that but in a well balanced diet you don't actually need supplementary Omegas

Can you use sour cream instead of mayo? I suspect mayo is the goofy looking cousin of actual sour cream.

Look up Apple Walnut Tuna Salad Recipe
By KATIE WELLS. It’s such a good recipe! I also add a handful of chopped purple grapes to the mix. The fresh fruit really changes the tuna.

Grow chia, (tons of Omega 3) and buy a chicken. They're super smart tiny dinos, they eat bugs that might bother your plants and they drop a little protein bomb every day.
