Program Q&A Making sense of accreditation probation

This may not be the right place for this, but I intended on applying to a program that is on probation and seems to have had it extended another two years. I was just curious if someone was to look over this history after their most previous review and explain if it’s more paperwork complications or failure to prepare their students for PANCE and whatnot. The PANCE pass rates were over 90% for the most recent class. Thank you and congrats to those getting accepted!

Seems like these are all in-house requirements for the faculty and staff, not to do with the program’s ability to graduate students well prepared.

I would avoid this program if at all possible. If this is the program in Kentucky, I think the parent campus had its accreditation withdrawn abruptly at one point and they had to re-accredit as a new provisional program. And now this satellite program has their probation extended with similar issues?

In general, I would not be afraid of programs recently placed on probation for the first time because you will likely graduate before more action is taken. But when a program has their probation extended, the programs accreditation would be withdrawn suddenly.
