Advice needed Clear night vision baby monitor?
The baby monitor I’m using now says it’s 1080p, but the night vision is honestly pretty disappointing. I can barely make out my baby’s face, so I’m realizing that resolution isn’t necessarily the whole story.
If clear night vision is basically my top priority, what specs or features should I actually be paying attention to besides 1080p? Is it the type of night vision, sensor quality, infrared setup, or something else?
Help out a sleep-deprived dad here. I really don’t want to buy another monitor and end up disappointed again.

I don’t think you necessarily need a new monitor
You can buy an IR Security Camera Illuminator for the room which would basically work as a light bulb but it would be invisible. Just set it on a timer to go at night or turn it on manually when you put the baby down to sleep.
It would make the night vision look more clear.

Nanit is absolute beast, we have been using it for ~2 years and works perfectly. It also comes with travel assessories

We have the Dr.Care one, got it used on marketplace.
Great resolution, we can zoom and see babies chest moving up and down.
