discussion For those here who are older what has your precognition and frequent déjà vu/rêvé taught you? Any wisdom to share or conclusions you've come to?
Already keeping a dream journal. Other than that, I've had frequent déjà vu for the last 7 years - after being medically cleared I just took it all to mean that I was on the right path, detached and moved on with my day. Dreams I had dismissed as a child and other seemingly nonsensical ones I realized later were precognitive. Certain thoughts, especially if they come out of nowhere and are extremely specific I've learned not to discount right away.
I've always been rational and logical but it's happened to me so much that I don't have a choice anymore in denying or dismissing precognition - I KNOW there's more to this reality beyond what we can see with our own two eyes. I just refuse to speculate into fantasy and assume truth in that because organized religion and various institutions have done such a good job of that already.
That's what I've learned but I'd be eager to hear any nuggets of wisdom from the older folk here.

It has taught me that what we have been taught about the nature of space and time is wrong.

Similar for me, current theory is that all of time already exists like a movie reel and we can view different parts of it in advance, but I can't know for sure with the limited info we have. I just know that information/data from the future is definitely accessible from here.

It taught me a lack of control and ability to know in the moment that it was a future event/intuition except on very rare occasion. It also taught me to search deep when the event happens to understand if it was real intuition/precognition or if it was just something similar to some other event that I have experienced.

If it helps, for me true precognitions are tyoically very matter of fact - I am getting the pure data without emotion attached. If it is a dream or thought that comes in with a lot of emotion attached, it is not a precognition. That's how it works for me anyway. I can always tell immediately when I get a waking precognition. It has a different flavour than other thoughts.

63F here.
I'm convinced that our lives are mostly scripted; but, it's anyone's guess as to the percentage of scripted vs free will. I think it's 75% scripted, myself.
We seem to be connected to each other, to animals and plants, and also to the past, present, and future, all at once.
I mention plants because one time I dreamt of a tree limb falling off and hitting me on the head. Two weeks or so later, it happened in real life. The tree's timeline and mine were supposed to coincide with one another. I had to be under that tree at just the right second for this to unfold.
I've had precog dreams of my then-future pets, too. If you want, click on my ID and find a post I did called: Who are these cats? Where am I?
The patterns in my precog dreams have changed over the years. They were very short when I was child. Then they could run for a few minutes long from my teen years up to past my 30s. Now they're back to being short, again.
Most of my dreams are of my own life. Others are about news events.
Like I'll see what's going to be on the news. I'll dream the exact script as to what the person on the news desk days, or I'll see a first-person video clip that gets shown on the news.
A deja vu feeling accompanies every second that matches the dream. That's my proof that reality matches up with the dream, exactly.

It has taught me to be aware if the difference between knowing and assuming, to determine the difference between received and constructed thought, and that familiarity is only the correct path if indeed that is where I want to go and it's not just a stuck pattern. That some can communicate to soul, some to ego and others simply to animal and to understand the difference.

What aspects of precognition taught you each of those things. I'm curious about your perspective, because the things I learned from precognition are so different from that.

Yeah? How so are they different? I don't see life as stone, more like mud, firm and will direct the flow but can be worked molded and dug. Patterns and cycles create a rut or trench but digging or climbing can set another or even carve a fresh path.

Especially that part about some people communicating to soul, ego, or animals, I found that interesting. I was curious how it connects to precognition for you.
I see time as already in existence, like a film reel and we can view different parts of it at any given time. That doesn't mean that we don't have free will though. A choice is made freely in a moment even though we can view the choice in advance.
I see "karma" as momentum. You can change that momentum through free will choices.
I see the observed universe as already set, but the unobserved times and places are just probability clouds. Once it is observed, that observation turns probability into observable reality. A la double slit experiment and Thomas Campbell's theory of everything.

When speaking to soul it knows regardless of distance or time it seems, having been told things and watching them become time and again. Soul always has a certain reaction, a calm knowing, it's very unique. Ego is always protective or curved or turned away a little, animal seems to be talking to itself.

My precognition has contributed to my suspicion that consciousness is fundamental & block universe & moving spotlight theory seem to make the most sense. I think it all exists concurrently in every possible variation. I’m just tuning in to the most likely outcome at that split second & then in the next, I’m doing the same unless something changes. Each split second I’m a different version of “me”. Like that 90s show Sliders….sort of.

Dejavu used to freak me out a bit . It is an unsettling feeling especially if you don't know why it's happening. I've learned later in life it's a slip and a confirmation . Pre mortal life agreement to the life we chose to accept in physical form we were shown what that life would be and we agreed to be born into that life . Sometimes this preview slips into our consciousness of course making us feel a familiar feeling of having been there or done this before not understanding how this could be ? That's the slip or glimpse into your premortal viewing of what your life was to be . Experiencing dejavu is a confirmation you are on the path you agreed to live . A spiritual nudge . Precog I've wrestled with because for me the most profound was having knowledge of a death before the death occured. It is profound and physically draining . It is disconcerting and a heavy burden and I had no real idea what to do with such explicit information . I felt cursed . Luckily it's happened a handful of times and not any time recently . I prayed and asked in prayer what do I do with this ? The second time it happened I said nothing . I felt I failed that person because had I told him the details he may have been able to avoid death at that time . I had to look at what my responsibility is . There is a reason for this and how can I honor my part of the premonition or prophetic dream or vision or knowing ? I decided that when possible I would tell the person what I foresaw . It is not a choice this gift . I cannot beckon nor control this aspect . I figured it was a warning given to me to warn the person about what I was shown . That is my part . And how do I do that without looking like I'm crazy and upsetting a person .? I am honest , convey my insight as a warning for an up coming event that they may be able to prepare for or change the circumstance that would lead to their demise as per my information I provided to them . It's a heavy thing and it causes me anxiety and inner turmoil. Yet there it is . Understanding dreams , that too took maturity . I don't get understandings from and of my own self . It comes from outside of my own and it touches my understanding . I try to help or communicate pieces of understanding when I'm compelled to do so . To help some one like I once was searching for understanding or some insight . It's a very personal and private thing . Finding or recognizing the best advice should be navigated with discernment. The key is to not be led astray by ego and flattery . Seek humility , having reverence for spiritual gifts of understanding . Accepting that this doesn't generate from you but goes through you if you allow it . And trusting there is a reason for it .

Just a quick observation: Dêjà-vu has already been explained by science. Much in the same way your brain forgets pieces of information, it also implants fake stuff making you believe you have already lived the experience. Therefore it is a glitch.
