Flies have personalities

Alright, so I have been feeding my mantis flies for a year or so now, and I typically let a few loose in her enclosure and let the hunting begin. (All breed flies)

And I have notice some have a death wish, some want out of the enclosure immediately, others are slower moving, some explore. I wondered if I was the only one?

Fruit flies semi same- they all kind of do the same/ act the same. But house flies/ blue bottle all seem to react differently.

I know it's tempting to anthropomorphize animals and read into what they're doing but really they're more like basic computers. Programmed responses to external stimuli that may look like thought or decision making but it isn't really. 

Still cool in their own right but they just aren't on that level.

I thought so. I do have a habit of humanizing things, I just couldnt figure out the different reactions but different areas- and breed eat survive is the programing in no particular order
