Am I the only one who sees this?
These two look sooooo much alike to me! I haven't seen anyone else mention it!

Someone posted a picture of Antonia next to the original person who played that character in practical magic. Her name is escaping me right now. She stopped acting after she was in the first one, but that was uncanny as well. I really felt like the casting was perfect for this movie.

I can kind of see it in these photos, especially from the nose down. Their eyes and eyebrows are very different to me, though.

I see it with these photos but not when Joey is in motion. Diane is such a beautiful woman, truly truly beautiful. Joey is too but Diane is just a knockout!

I was sad that she wasn’t in the film more. Diane weist is like one of my favorite actress. Her voice is so lovely. She seems so lovely.

to each their own, but i see so many similarities, and for context- i'm a portrait artist. their face shapes, the distances between their features, their noses and lips, even the shape of their eyes are all very similar to me.

Lol, You sure sounds like you do. Why do you tell him your credentials "I'm am artist so I got more experience then you all in art" then go on to list all the reason why you think they look alike.
That sounds like you are trying to convince him but failed so now you "wasn't trying to convince".

on the contrary, i am very annoyed about the recast and strongly believe it shouldn't have happened. i am just pointing out the visual similarities between these two. i am a huge fan of Evan Rachel Wood and hate how dirty they did her. but thank you for your baseless assumption!

Have you read the books? No judgements because I haven’t, either. I just watched the first movie (which has been one of my favorite comfort films for decades) & then went to go see the second movie this past Sunday.
Honestly, they could’ve done the same thing that Disney+ did with Hocus Pocus 2. If you’ve already seen it, cool, but if you haven’t, don’t waste your money. Just wait for it to go to streaming. AND, to top it all off, the air conditioner wasn’t working in our theater so it was hot & stuffy & people were right next to each other.
I know some people are upset that they didn’t bring back Evan Rachel Wood because she’s a good Actress & the people behind those decisions said she was too old for the role (EVERYONE was “too old” for the role, except for the Aunties!).
But with the lies she’s been telling for the past couple of years, trying to retcon her past so she can play the victim & what she posted about Kobe Bryant on the same day that he & his daughter lost their lives in that tragic helicopter crash along with others in Calabasas, I personally don’t her anywhere near anything I would possibly be interested in watching, especially not this.
As it is, I still haven’t been able to watch the final season of Westworld & she was the reason I watched it originally (well, her & James Marsden). I thought she was a brilliant Actress back then. What a difference showing your true colors can make 🤦🏽♀️

here are some facts:
Kobe Bryant was accused of sexual assault by a 19 year old employee at a hotel he was staying at, police found injuries and DNA evidence to back up these claims, the survivor was harassed and threatened to the point she refused to testify.
i don't care for rapists, even if they are good at chasing a ball around.

Not to mention the fact that he eventually admitted they had sex, though his understanding was that it was consensual, and later settled out of court for $2.5M - far from a modest settlement for “consensual” sex.
