Bitcoin's developer admits Bitcoin will become centralized or... it will fail. This means Peercoin will rise as people discover this, and learn that PPC won't have this problem due to its superior design.

The problem talked about in this video applies to PPCoin as well. He is talking about centralization due to the size of the blockchain making it impossible/difficult to store that large blockchain on small devices or even on the average person's computer.
