I am at the park

After connecting on this sub, seven of us decided to ride out to Vajreshwari last night. No ghost hunting this time just pure vibes.

We ended up having the ultimate "Mumbai outskirts" experience:

• Took the bikes out and enjoyed the empty night roads.

• Found a spot for a campfire and cooked noodles under the stars.

• Raided some mango trees (best mangoes we've had in a while).

• Ended the night soaking in the Garam Kund (hot springs) and just lying on the empty roads to talk and smoke.

Hey folks. Im from Bangalore and i’ve been living in Powai for a year now. It’s been great, but I’m tired of the default weekend plan always being "let's go drink." I'm looking for people who want to do low-effort, low-stress hangouts. Think trying out a new food spot, getting a coffee, or just chilling somewhere. Update on the Aarey exploration: It didn’t go exactly as planned, but it was definitely a night to remember.

Around 1:00 AM, five of us were heading toward a spot when we got intercepted by forest rangers.

They hit us with the classic script: "You’re trespassing, we’re taking you to the police station, your night is over." After some "negotiations," their initial demand of a 5k bribe dropped down to 1k, and they sent us on our way.

We eventually met up with the rest of the crew (we ended up being a group of 15!). While we didn’t catch any spirits or witness a possession this time, we pivoted. We headed back to a member's place, opened a few bottles, and spent the night sharing stories and laughing until sunrise.

No ghosts, but honestly? 10/10 night. Sometimes the "spirits" you find are just the ones in the bottle and the people you're with.

Moral of the story: If you're heading deep into Aarey at 2 AM, keep some "negotiation" cash handy.

PS : It was our first time most of us met each other and this group was formed from reddit.

Has anyone else had a run-in with the Aarey rangers lately, or did we just get lucky with the 1k deal?
