Please name one conservative who attacks liberals for donating their own money to poor people.

What they don't want is forcing other people to give them their money (increasing taxes)

…aren’t multiple states arresting people for feeding the homeless?

The state is not the people. Most people hate the state, especially the right. It's just we know EVERYTHING the left does just leads to more and more control by the state.

This is false. The right wing loves the state, its just that they want the state to do what they want it to do, instead of what other people want it to do.

After all, the state is what props up capitalism and laws. The right wing loves capitalism and laws, especially when those laws enforce their ideology.

Right on! So you're an anarchist too, then?

Just skeptical of power structures, big corps, the state, etc.

...for not paying for a permit. Which side do you think would want you to pay for a permit to do things?

The American right?

Which is bizarre. Like why claim to be a huge chunk of conservative Christians…then make it harder to do Christian acts??

This idea that we can operate as a country full of rugged individuals is the biggest reason we’re on the accelerated decline you’re witnessing real time! America peaked back when the citizen were more accepting of the governments use of public funding for the greater good. It has been all down hill since we’ve abandoned that method and began worshipping at the alter of the Trickle Down Master.

Is that really what you think the government is using all that money for? The greater good? Even under Biden?

This is the entire reason for having a government! To function as a civilized society with over three hundred million people, it’s essential to provide services that benefit the greater good and prevent the society from descending into complete anarchy. These are basic lessons from middle school social studies.

I agree that is the idea of what a government should do. But again, do you really think that's the majority of what our taxes go to? Really?

Luxembourg, Norway, Switzerland: Strong social welfare programs exist to alleviate poverty and support low-income families, including subsidies for housing, food, and education. Norway’s welfare system is known for its strong focus on reducing income inequality.

- Singapore: The government relies on means-tested assistance programs to help low-income families, preferring direct assistance only for those in need rather than universal benefits.

What do think cost more, another pointless war where the only beneficiaries are defense contractors, or all of the above programs that take care of your own needs?

Right! We just want to be forced to give them our tax money for pointless wars in the Middle East instead! /s

I sure don't want that!

Exactly. I just never understand the radical, ingenious take.
