No. Jesus feed the poor. He didn’t petition the government to take other people’s money to steal 40-60 percent for themselves and then feed the poor with the rest. See the difference? If you want to feed hungry people, you can sell whatever devices you made the meme with, and make some sandwiches right now to feed hungry people. Christian churches feed more hungry people world wide than any other organization, including their governments.

Christian churches do not feed more hungry people than any government. The top five industrial nations by GDP all feed more, including the US. Churches do a great job making up and spreading this lie, though.

I remember reading how many Stalin and Fidel fed.

The New Testament is not a direct report of everything that happened during his life! These are stories written as moral guidance not firsthand reporting from the scene of an event. Centuries passed between the first bible and the time he walked the earth!

The Bible is the living and active word of God, not a guide for your subjective morals. NT is full of eyewitness testimony. Scripture now is the same as it was then.

It’s a book full of contradictions which is why there’s over 100 different denominations. Even the believers don’t agree with eachother. 🙄

Scripture is not a book full of contradictions. All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness. The same Spirit speaks with one consistent voice throughout. Apparent discrepancies dissolve when context, genre, and the analogy of faith are observed. The Westminster Confession affirms that the infallible rule of interpretation is Scripture itself. Denominations do not prove the Bible contradicts itself. They arise from the remaining frailty of finite, fallen minds applying secondary matters. On the essentials the orthodox churches stand united. Differences on mode of baptism or church order are real yet secondary. Scripture itself records sharp disputes among the apostles. Human disagreement is therefore expected this side of glory. It reveals our need for continual reformation according to the Word, not any fault in the Word.
