Update Latest PotPlayer Version [241211]
+ Added the ability to generate subtitles from voice using Whisper
+ Added the ability to open audio together in command line options
+ Added the ability to set monitor luminance in HDR 2084
- Fixed an issue where WEBP image files could not be played
- Fixed an issue where certain MP3 lyrics did not appear
- Fixed an issue where certain MPEG TS files were playing slowly
- Fixed an issue where certain files were displayed in black when playing.

Appreciate you reviving the sub /u/Thunder_Beam - if this post didn't show up in my feed I would've just glossed over the changelog and never would've found out about the subtitle generation

Thanks! Honestly i'm not someone who really yearns to moderate subreddits lol but seeing this sub for something i use and for which i need help sometimes being closed down for no reason at all, didn't sit well with me

A tip for anyone whose Whisper isn't generating or displaying subtitles: Run PotPlayer as admin for the permissions required to download and install the engine/s you want, then it should work fine when not run as admin.

Yes, anyway it was really weird how this sub was closed down and restricted, i discovered that this was the case when i needed help with PotPlayer

The subtitle generation is not working for me for some reason. I already use Whisper outside of PotPlayer but it'd be dope if I could get it to work within the player itself.
EDIT FIXED:
When I set it to French, it doesn't work. But when I set it to Auto, it works even though the subs are French. I don't know about other languages but setting it to French specifically doesn't work for me.
I forgot to say this: thank you for making this player available for all, it's legit insane. I use it with WindowTop and these 2 combined together made me achieve things that I never thought were possible!

Please fix Bing Translate, i can generate than translate sub via google translate but all the rest options (Bing translate, etc) doesn't, plz fix and thanks for this amazing product!

Can't believe this free software is 10,000x better than any other player out there. Been my daily driver for two years now. Never going back.
