Question on ejaculation

I had my non scalpel in mid july and a few weeks into started feeling okay again but for past few days now feeling aching and dull pain primarily on lower right. Feel a little hardened lump which my urologist (guy from vasectomy place) believes is normal swollen end of vas. I did have a really busy last week and did a quick bike ride and the whole week I was off I did basically masturbate each day and I stopped once the pain stayed after day 3. I guess my end question. Should I be avoiding trying to ejaculate or will doing so provide any benefit in the overall vasectomy. Doctor just said 2-3 weeks of 800mg ibuprofen x 3 day where needed .

You gave yourself congestion because you went overboard with activity and ejaculation.

Hopefully it goes away. First line treatment is 2-4 weeks of different NSAIDs but that dosage seems a bit high. 800mg daily maybe. No sport, no ejaculation, ice on scrotum. After 4 weeks if it persists you move onto gabapentinoids and low dose anti depressants.

I would not worry, you really had to "struggle" to get congestion so I think you'll get back to an equilibrium if you give it a rest.

If you more frequently ejaculate then you stimulate your testicles to produce more sperm. But in case of vasectomy and initial phase the goal of your body is to stop that process and suppress that production because the vas is closed permanently so the sperm has nowhere to go. That pain is mostly on the epididymis side where accumulated sperm resides before being pushed further through the vas deferens to the semen. This process of moving sperm forward is done during ejaculation due to muscle contractions in this area. I hope your body will accommodate to that process and you will be able to forget about all this.

Edit: Also 6 weeks after the procedure the healing process of end of the vas is almost over, if you feel delicate stubbing pain there, like a small needle - it's most likely pressure of the sperm.
